*Note for Insurance: Joy Therapy & Life Coaching is a self-pay private practice and does not accept insurance at this time. We are able to accept HSA cards as a form of payment. We are happy to provide super bills as needed.
Our rate is $140 per 55-minute therapy session, couples/marriage therapy sessions are $175 for 55 minutes. We are able to offer financial assistance to those who can't afford our full rate. This is determined on an honor system.

What does it mean to be counseled by a Christian?It means your counselor is a practicing Christian whose faith informs their values, perspective, and care. We use well-established counseling methods while also considering spiritual and relational dynamics that may be important to you. Our approach is respectful, thoughtful, and tailored to each person — whether you share our faith or not.

How often is therapy necessary?The frequency of therapy depends on your goals, needs, and life circumstances. Most clients start with weekly sessions, which helps build momentum and a strong therapeutic relationship. Some people may move to biweekly or monthly sessions over time as they make progress. We’ll collaborate to find a pace that feels supportive and sustainable for you.
